Summary objective of the job:
- Perform research, design, implementation, and support tasks as a member of Company’s DevOps engineering team.
- Work in accordance with project guidelines, quality standards and code conventions
- Take ownership of features and infrastructure development and implement tasks of any complexity
Responsibilities:
- Design, integrate, implement the complex infrastructure solutions
- Prototype and improve project architecture/infrastructure
- Implement the most complex tasks from backlog
- Maintain and improve process automation
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain and improve monitoring/logging/alerting systems
- Implement best practices in system availability and scalability
- Perform root cause analysis for technical issues
- Initiate and conduct code reviews, create code standards, conventions, and guidelines
- Supervise and mentor newcomers and more junior team members
- Conduct technical interviews with external and internal candidates
- Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product
- Support of development process
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial experience as DevOps engineer.
- Deep understanding of DevOps philosophy/practices
- Deep understanding of Linux internals
- Deep understanding of networking/load balancing
- Understanding of virtualization/containerization technologies (KVM / Docker)
- Understanding of microservice architecture/patterns
- Experience with cloud providers (Azure/ AWS is a big plus)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes / Helm)
- Experience with IaaC approach (Terraform)
- Experience with logging systems (Elasticsearch, Fluentbit, Elastalert)
- Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager)
- Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins/Other)
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ or others)
- Good knowledge about Git/GitHub
- Knowledge of shell-scripting languages (Bash, Python)
- At least Intermediate level of English
