  • DWH: Oracle, SQL, Informatica, Teradata, ETL, Unix/Shell Scripting, QlikView, Cloudera – Data Warehouse;
  • Web & Apps Development: Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Endeca, SAP, Node JS,
  • Android, iOS, Angular, Web Dynpro, ABAP, SSIS, Batch scripts – Web & Mobile;
  • Infrastructure: Linux, Microsoft Windows – Active Directory, Exchange, VM-Ware – System Admin;
  • Software testing: Java, Groovy, Selenium, Apium, Geb – QA Automation and much more.
  • SAP: Web-Dynpro ABAP, as IDOC, PI, Web-service, Proxy, OData, EDI/ALE/IDOCs, RFC, BAPI’s

Summary objective of the job:

This role requires an experienced technical manager that coordinated technical people and projects. The Data Warehouse Manager provides work direction and leadership to team members and is responsible for the allocations and quality delivery of the team.
Manages multiple initiatives of the Data Warehouse department and ensures on-time and on-budget delivery of the projects, also is actively involved in the execution of the plan, establishes relationships at all levels, successfully leads the teams to develop and implement solutions striving to exceed business expectations. He will work in concert with DBA’s, Business Analysts, Business Users and other Technical staff.  Responsibilities in this person’s daily activities will include EDW support, programming in various ETL tools.

Responsibilities:

  •  Management
    o Provide oversight and guidance to technical members for alignment on the desired solution
    o Allocate resources on projects and actively manage project work plans of increasing complexity and
    resolving project issues, providing proactive direction for team members
    o Monitor the performance of the team and reporting progress of the projects to senior leadership
  •  Programming
    o Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills and concepts
    o Ability to leverage SQL skills across multiple database technologies
    o O/S skills in AIX/Unix Shell & Utilities, Windows Script, PowerShell & Utilities, Mainframe, Resolving Performance, Technical and/or Data Issues
    o Analyze data issues and present corrective options
    o Provide technical assistance on assigned EDW-related issues
    o Make &test corrections to existing ETL, Unix/Windows scripts, Database utilities, etc.
  • General EDW Support
    o Coding in various ETL Technologies and work closely with the Job Scheduling team
    o Upkeep/supervise Production Support documentation
    o Work with vendors to open tickets and resolve issues
  •  Primary Support rotation
    o Take occasional rotations on EDW Primary Support
    o Minimize disruption to the business
  •  Excellent Work Ethic & English Communication Skills (verbal and written)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably with a data warehouse or relational database specialization or similar experience
  •  Leading a team for at least 1 + years
  • Display effective written and verbal communications skills appropriate for their audience including business
    team members, technical team members and senior leadership
  •  Partner with product owners to manage expectations, assist with stakeholder communications and maintain
    appropriate governance processes that meet or exceed business expectations
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical abilities
  • Demonstrates proficiencies in the ability to manage through conflict, champion change, promote a positive
    working environment while re-enforcing the values of teamwork and collaboration
  • Expected to be a critical thinker while also demonstrating the ability to effectively prioritize work efforts for
    both themselves and the team members
  •  Demonstrates ability to clear out and effectively deliver projects where initial business requests were unclear
  •  Able to handle dynamic environment with a focus on success and productivity
  • Flexible, motivated, positive and team-oriented attitude; excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively
    with team members in a remote capacity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with technical and business partners
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to the United States
